Consistent with the fluid approach that SpRoUt brings to its work, the artists involved from project to project varies. These practitioners, whose work encompasses a variety of media, pursue significant solo practices that run alongside their contribution to SpRoUt events, exhibitions and commissions.

Hannah works with and between film, video and text exploring the performative aspects of the lens and of writing. She was a researcher in arts documentaries at the BBC (White City) and now works as an associate lecturer at the University of Plymouth. In 2007 she has been commissioned to make work for the Towner Gallery, Eastbourne (with SpRoUt), and Westival (in collaboration with sound artist Duncan Speakman. Her work has been published by Elusive Camel and online as part of Barbara Campbell’s 1001 nights cast.

Samuel Dowd makes work that draws on the fields of sculpture and performance - exploring expanded notions of the object as event. He has recently been invited to contribute to a number of overseas projects such as MANIFESTA 6, ASIA-EUROPE MEDIATIONS & THE ALYTUS BIENNALE. In 2007 he has been commissioned as artist in residence by the TOWNER GALLERY, EASTBOURNE (with SpRoUt), and GALERIJE MIROSLAV KRALJEVIC, ZAGREB, CROATIA. His work has been published in THE GUARDIAN , A-N MAGAZINE, KULTUREFLASH , SPONGEPUDDING and Artsadmin's DIY 3: 2005.

Hayley Skipper has exhibited her work nationally and internationally at venues including ROOSEUM CENTRE FOR CONTEMPORARY ART, GASWORKS, MEAD GALLERY and the NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM LONDON’ . She is active in artist led initiatives that engage in critical enquiry into the relationships between sites, communities, cultural practices and issues of interdisciplinarity and has been involved in a number of public projects including a commission with art/architecture practice MUF.
